How It Works

Doug Score

The DougScore rates cars based on 10 distinct categories. In each category, a car can score between 1 and 10, with the best possible score being 100. The DougScore evaluates each car against all other cars reviewed by Doug Demuro.

Daily Score

The Daily Score, with a top score of 50, gauges a car's everyday usability. It's split into five areas: features, comfort, quality, practicality, and value, measuring the car's overall convenience, cost-effectiveness and affordability.

Weekend Score

The Weekend Score, with a top score of 50, rates a car's thrill for enthusiasts. It covers five aspects: styling, acceleration, handling, fun factor, and cool factor, evaluating how enjoyable a car is to drive.
